We have just a basic MAP sensor on this type of engine, I will try and disconnect that/put the engine back in the Open Loop mode to see if that changes anything.
Tried spraying carb cleaner over the engine at a local repair shop – that didn’t take us anywhere. Giving the fire hazard I would rule-out that method completely.
The Scotty-Smoke method seems more effective but we don’t like smoking cigars that much so we need to improvise a machine like this Basic Smoke Machine Video
Thank you College Man!
These answers appear to be for different models (300C) and engines 2.7 and 5.7 HEMI that this car.
We need to be sure before calling this car in service for it.
Anyone changed a Cabin Air Filter on a 300M?

Problem solved with a lot of heat (propane torch), WD-40, patience and a few heart-felt prayers.
Now comes in handy all the advice about preventing this sort of agony from repeating itself.
Thank you all for the useful ideas and support in handling this issue!
P.S. I’m starting to hate engines with steel and aluminum parts bolted together.

Thank you for all your help and ideas. Checked the voltage on the wires and relay.
The relay clicked but the voltage coming out of it was too low to get the starter solenoid moving.
Changed the relay and now everything works as it should (even better than before: started motor had some hesitation that was also related to the defective relay).:)

Just managed to jump-start the car with a wire from the + battery terminal to the starter terminal.
Is there any way to tell if the key is making contact when turned to start the engine?
The Brake light comes on and all dash indicators move when i turn the key all the way to start the engine but that’s all it happens (headlights remain bright and the starter dead).

Excellent videos (I already saw the first one but the other three look even more interesting).
This evening I’ll try to put them to good use and see what we’ve got.
Keep you posted,

Fan works ok._x000D_
