      Have you considered purchasing a repair manual? It can be really helpful for parts and repairs. Good luck on the car.

            I’m sure you found a solution to this problem by now but I was reading through the post and came across an article that described using thread repair inserts to removed broken bolts. I have also found some really useful information in my vehicle’s repair manual.

              If hands on experience is what you are looking for then I would go for the shop job. It will be difficult at first but if you stick with it then you will have a lot of experience under your belt by the end of it.
