i think its a good idea but u mentioned doing a overhaul on the stock engine that would also be cool. if you were to say do both it would allow for a bulk of interesting videos and after the rebuild is done you could also sell the engine/ trans to try and recoup some of your money losses perhaps on the forsale section of your own website either way i think it will make for some cool videos

I have to say I particularly dislike power steering issues they just sometimes can jus be quite bothersome as well as heater cores I might be saying the because I have had to do quite a few of these in the last few weeks but none the less they are troublesome

Unfortunately I am not in a situation where I have spare time I currently work full time at a shop part time at another and am also a full time delivery driver at night I also have a fairly successful side repair business that I do at night I average 3 hrs of sleep a night and 1 day off about every 10 weeks so not that I don’t love my tech jobs but when I do have time off it is not time for mechanic work … However it always seems that that one day is when every1 of my friends breaks down and I end up working anyway lol
I have both at the shops that I work at and while yes the electric is helpful for some situations they are big, bulky, and heavy and unless they have a full charge the torque just isn’t always there whereas yes the air hose gets in the way sometimes I find it a lot better and easier to use the air in most situations
6 point best for breaking torque or rusty nuts or bolts
12 point best for speed like what was already said they sometimes just fit the space better but they are more likely to strip bolt heads then a 6 pointHowever 6 point are sometimes more expensive then 12 point variety but like eric has said the one place you don’t want to cheap out on are your hand tools
Hello I’m Matt I would classify myself as a new tech I am also taking the old school route trying to become successful I started as a diyer about 4 years ago since then I worked at a jiffy lube for about 9 months I now work at a auto hobby skills center on marine corps base quantico where military, vets, and DoD civilians can bring there cars and use professional tools and lifts we also teach basic classes for beginners. I also currently work at a mom and pop shop.

Of the old website as far as I am aware the page no longer around the silicone paste the Eric uses is this http://www.amazon.com/3M-Silcone-Paste/dp/B0015PI34O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348601383&sr=8-1&keywords=3m+silicone+paste
I dealt with asimaliar problem on my friends camaro you might want to go to autozone and have your ICM not your ecm tested. And if your are looking for that part on the vehicle it should be inside the distributor cap
