Another thing to check is the slide pins on the caliper bracket. If they are seized, it can cause this issue.
Thank you.
Check the tires. Also, check the CV boots.
Yea, honestly where else can you buy a whole car, that runs, and has a very clean interior, and is roomy, for $300. I think I’m gonna do it.
Would that cause the air conditioning to stop working correctly? Right now, the air blows cold.
I just bought the 3M Roloc brake hub cleaning kit. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013HHNPY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00
I use it to remove rust and corrosion on wheel hubs and the brake rotors (the surface that mates up with the wheel).
I highly recommend it.
Did you bleed the cooling system correctly? If there is air in the system, it could cause an overheat condition.
It’s a very open-ended question because I’m not sure what you mean by failure. Do you mean if the boot rips and it dries out? Or do you mean if the axle comes apart (catastrophic failure). What is preventing you from fixing it?
If it was me, I’d replace the shocks if they are leaking oil. To answer your other question, you do not need to do the fronts unless they too are leaking. Just do both rears at the same time if you decide to do it.
1. Resurfacing rotors is an approved Honda service.
2. While most fluids for Hondas should be genuine, brake fluid doesn’t need to be. As long as it was DOT3 or DOT 4. If it was power steering fluid, coolant, or transmission fluid, it would have to be Honda genuine.I recently bought two tools:
1. A sanding pen
2. Lisle brand Impact DriverThe sanding pen is perfect for removing rust from chips in the paint prior to repainting. The impact driver is used for removing the rotor screws on my Hondas.

Most Hondas are pretty practical and not very exciting, but I hope that they start making more cars like this in the near future.twiggy02919: I’m hoping to get 300,000 miles out of my car. It’s really a champ.
Are you certain that it’s the schrader valves that are leaking? If you have no refrigerant, your first step should be to identify what component in the system is leaking.

These might be copies of the factory service manual. They come in paper and CD.

In case you want to do it yourself.
