I agree and add this — I personally love the Fairmont videos — and applaud the fact that your building a car, the way you want to build a car. This has had an impact on me so much I went out and bought a 1960 F100 and will be building it the way ( dare I say ) my “dream truck” looks, rides, and sounds, as the same as in my mind. So — Thank you for that !

This ended up being the problem all along. It’s a factory production error I believe. This was found under the drivers kick panel — I put in a screw and works perfect now !!

Found the problem — was a broken ground wire in the drivers door going to some little part that I have no clue what it’s function may be. But the part does have stamped on it — Ford – Pollak E1VB ?

The problem now will not go away. I have taken apart whole dash, inspected all that can be seen, tested every fuse, relay, ground wires, and yet — car starts perfectly, no problems — unless you touch anything that draws an electrical current, with exception of the overhead light. I have tested battery, ecm, pcm, window switches, door locks, alt, checked if any wires were crimped, broken or loose in door jams, tail gate, steering, and have yet to solve this conundrum. My only alternative — get new wiring harness ?

I forgot to add, the power windows will not work, and the turn signals blink super fast when the above happens, also one relay under dash will switch on and off if foot is on brake, but as I said before the engine will stall of you keep trying to use any of the above.
