If you are using the sockets regularly and don’t live in a harsh environment they will be fine. They have the same kind of finish/coating that traditional impact sockets have. If you tend to use tools once in a while or live in a very wet or salty area then it would be best to oil them down with something before you put them away after use. Also, if working with rusted fasteners or parts, take a little time and clean the sockets before putting them away.
I have these duo sockets in my home box because of their multi purpose ability. I have had zero issues so far and would by them again if for some reason they got missing.

Thanks for the reply Eric. The place I am going is actually an independent shop that specializes in Honda’s and Acura’s so I will be doing very little warranty work I hope. They also claim to have the factory scan tools, factory service information, and “all” the special tools.
And as far as being ruined by Honda’s I have this to say. Since I have been working on every manufacture for the last 3.5 years I think getting spoiled by Hondas sounds awesome!
