i just tried and it didnt seem to bog ,it did idle at 2k, but its pretty warm outside right now so im going to try it later, but if that is the problem just buy and replace the sensor?

no the bogging only occurs on cold start, if the engines warm it starts fine.
if i wait 2 minutes or so after it stops high idle then it usually is fine, if its really cold outside sometimes it takes longer to not bog.

no wires trapped. and it seems like it leaked more from the back.
I think im just going to find somewhere to have the car stored becauase i cannot wait a few days to figure out the problem becuase i am occupying the garage witch my 85 year old grandfather uses and he now has to walk across the street and this has been for a few weeks so i have to call it quites.
    Thanks for the help:)

I have a 98 civic as well, with a b18/b16 combo and it is deffinatly more fun than stock. But yes alot of time and money. So if you dont have mechanic friends or arent one yourself i would proceed with caution.

Im assuming so since i bought it from a large reputable dealer. And if it was the wrong viscosity it would have other affects than just a noise cold start. But thanks for the response.
