CEL comes back. I don’t have a scanner. Can’t find any vacuum leaks any where. I think I’ll try a new MAF scensor.
Had similar issue with 03 Element and 13 Jetta. The syncro for second gets used the most so it tends to go out first. Parts are not to bad but usually sold as a matched set with new gears. the hassle is pulling the box, disassembly and shimming for the right clearance with the new syncro pack. Might as well toss in a new clutch set while you have the gear box out.
