On the 4.6 you should be able to disconnect the coils by the pigtale without takeing the coil out… do one at a time..if theres no noticable diffrence change the coil.. and while yur there may as well change the plug

Thanks Eric, i didnt catch this video before i dove in and heres what went down!
1..i took the plastic covers off and the 4th cly was the only cly that didnt come up on my scanner…so i switched 4 and 5 then deleted the codes and whent for a drive
2.. i re scanned to see that the 5th cly was now the only one not misfireing

3.. i ran the car and disconnected the 4th coil plug and nothing changed,,,

4 i then disconnected the 5 th coil and boom.. it ran rougher

5.. i replaced the 1 coil that didnt have any running effect with a new one

              6.. erased the codes

7 re test drove and it runs perfect and no more codes 🙂

total time 1 hr and 70$ for the part

Yes, and most likely in better shape..

all things considered i would think that if it only had a small leak that i would still have heat in the heater…i mean its not leaking that bad…the leak i found was under the intake in the vally, so today ile be removing the whole intake plenum to expose the vally and the leak hopefully.
If the core flows good out of the vehicle a new core won’t solve the problem. There’s a reason why coolant isn’t getting to it. Maybe messy but disconnect the ingoing hose and run the engine, then work your way back
ive done that and it flows fine..How ever i think theres a leak under the intake where ford decided it was a great idea to put the return line to the pump from the heater core.. you cant see it too look but i can see that its wet down there
