Then no need to change your cluch pack again, just check their condition while u have the transmission open just in case they got damaged but i doubt it.
after the transmission was rebuilt the transmission shop kept the car for more time as they were test changing solenoids, and in the dealership i was told that the 2nd gear pressure switch wasnt activating, , i got the thransmission shop to swap places of the 2nd and 3rd gear pressure switch as they are the same part, after that i did a continuity test of all electronics that are on the transmission with eception of the range switch, then i compared the location and wire color to the manual i found and all is correct, i tested the transmission range switch and all is where it supposed to be with its corresponding voltages
what else could make the pcm send wrong signasl? there sint much on the transmission, there are 2 pressure switches but for them to activate the solenoids need to work apropietly first, then there is the countershaft and mainshaft speed sensor, but the car was static during all testing, and doesnt matter if its static or moving, it does the same thing, the reange switch is sending correct signals to the correct wires, so as far as i know everythong thats on the transmission is wired correctly and has good continuity and sends correct signals to the PCM, but is the PCM thats not sending signals apropietly.
Attachments:about the scanner, my accord has pre OBDII conector, if your car doesnt have a OBDII conector then its going to be difficult to get a scanner that you can use, also it has to be capable to read codes for the transmission not only the engine. the guide i found it while searching for the PCM/transmission pin map this is what i searched “honda accord 2002 v6 b7xa map” , its a really easy to understand guide, since my transmission was rebuilt the transmission shop called me to show me what was bad with my transmission and i was shown what transmisiion i had and the kit they were putting in so that it matched, if you can find it, its a nice get, it has everyting in it.
“Someone mentioned Auto RX as an inner transmission cleaner in a post. For $30 might be worth a try if the valves are sticking. ”
might worth a try, since the fluid is clean, i personally woulnt add any aditives since they are ony band aid temporary repairs, but if it gets working then you know a valve is getting stuck.had similar problem on my 02 honda accord v6, but on reverse, it would grind and not engage, it was infact a synchro, it was worn out but sometimes was able to engage.
take a read at this thread, the last post on it, but still good to read trough it all

hope it helps,
does it slip or does it goes into 3rd gear? in my honda accord 2002 v6, when first turned on and put it on d4/d3 it wont change into 2nd gear, wich causes it to jump from 1st to 3rd gear and flash the d4 indicator, if i start the car again and select 2nd it wont move, if this is happening to you i recomend to check a troubleshooting guide for your vehicle, like this one but its for the v6 accord 6th gen.
because it might be a bad PCM, same in my car, the fluid is clean and smells sweet, even now the shifts well the egagements after its been first turn one are sometime really harsh like really violent but thats caused by the PCM wich i checked and i did found that the signal going to the shift solenoid A incorrect acording to the manual. , with the reverse issue your having, well before i got my transmission rebuilt selecting reverse would make a very loud grinding noise.
so it could be a bad transmission, a bad PCM, a bad connection, a bad solenoid, a bad sensor, best if you check what codes your car has, so you get an idea of whats wrong. and it would be ideal if you share us the code.
the signa is there, i opened the pcm and traced the transistor to check if it was the cause of the problem but the signal it gets its incorrect, example, in the neutral position, solenoid A must remain off, but in my pcm the processor sends an, on signal for 5-6 seconds then off, its also sending delayed signals to solenoid C. now can i just get the pcm to be reprogramed? or do i need it to replace it? because with what i found it doesnt seem to be a hardwaere issue, but a software issue. about 3 months ago i got it scanned at bosch, and when put on neutral it showed reverse if im not mistaken, on the scanner. as far as i know there isnt much in that can cause this to happen, if a sensor was bad then it would have been detected at the dealership or7
when all the sensors and actuators of the transmission were changed tested.well i have a 2002 honda accord v6 auto, i bought it as my forst car, it supposedly had bad solenoids, it came out to be a bad transmission, well i pay for a rebuild and it didnt work, the code p0780 came out before the rebuild and after the rebuild, i checked all sensors, on the dealership i was told that a pressure witch is not working properly, so i got the 2nds and 3rd gear pressure sensors switched, since they are the same part, and still nothing, now it shift even harsher, my simpthos of the car are abit different, when i start the car its all normal, 1st runs nice and strong, but it tries to go to 2nd but nothing happens, like if 2nd gear didnt exist, and then it will skip to 3rd gear, after that i have to manualy change gears, d1 and d2 become the same, and d3 with d4 become the same, so as if i have only 2 gears, 2nd and third, once d4 light starts flashig. Any idea to why? the dealership says the computer might be damaged, or if thats not the case then the transission is bad, but the fluid is redish color and sweet smell, i donk know what else to do, this car is quite rare where i am, i cant get parts easily or test the ECU with other car of the same type at the dealership cuz even they dont get these cars of this vintage anymore. i only seen about 4 in the city.
its a v6, transmission rebuit, and it doesnt go into 2nd, it can go to almost redline and it will not shift, after the transmission was rebuilt the car feels much better until it goes into limp mode,
i have the same problem, flashing d4, the transmission was rebuild, but still the same, the car will start normally, but wont shift to second gear, once it fails to shift the d4 will start flashing, and then its on limp mode, the solenoids were tested and all came out good, they were also temporarily replaced with other solenoids but same result, i can drive the car after it fails to shift to 2nd gear, by putting the shifter on 2nd, wich weirdly enough it seems to engage, and then move it to d3 to gain speed, apart from that i got it scaned and it showed incorrect gear information, when the shifter was put into park, it showed other state (i think it was neutral), but in the dash board it showed park, and park did engage, but the signal going to the computer is wrong, sorry that its too long but its having weird sympthoms, the code is p0780, and it had it even before the transmission was rebuilt. could it be the PCM?
