              To check a for a bad wheel bearing or suspension parts jack up the vehicle and place a jack stand securely underneath the vehicle. Grab the tire with both hands and shack it back and forth and up and down. If you get any movement out of it there’s something worn out. If you have somebody to help you with this process it makes it a lot easier. One person can wiggle the tire side to side and up and down while the other person is underneath the car looking for any movement in the steering components.

                  Yes that will lower the axle and you will be able to remove the bolts. Chuck the wheels with blocks of wood and put the truck in neutral so you can spin the drive shaft and access the bolts easier that hold the u-joint on the yoke.

                          Well I unplugged the connector that goes into the transmission and it shifts a lot better. It doesn’t shift hard into overdrive anymore when it’s unplugged. But when i plug it back in it shifts hard.

                                  Yeah I’ve been doing a little research and thats what I’ve been reading. Is the TCC difficult to replace?
