We could make a car club and cruise around together in Forza Horizon, assuming someone other than I has it.
Try downshifting it, if it won’t kick down on it’s own. Will it kick down at WOT on flat ground?

My remote design is nothing like that and the battery holder isn’t loose. Thanks though.

Truck is 14 years old and we’ve owned it for almost 10 of those… this system has always worked fine. Except that one time the “stealership” “accidentally” cut one of the wires. Thanks for the suggestions guys. The remote is working for the moment but depending on how it gets shaken it comes on, makes me think that the part of the button on the circuit board itself is damaged.

I always put oil in my filter, even on my lawn tractor. It’s just the way I was taught to do it and I never saw any advantage to not doing it that outweighed the potential risks.

Could be that it was burning alot of oil, and the higher octane fuel kept it running a bit better. That worked to a degree on my truck, except I used octane booster instead of actual 93 octane fuel.
you are probably TDC on the exhaust stroke. make sure you are TDC on compression.
I second that, seems like everything else is in order.
you are probably TDC on the exhaust stroke. make sure you are TDC on compression.
New problem being, this is an aftermarket system that was on the truck when we got it, so there’s no record of the model. I know it’s made by Bulldog security, but that’s all. I’ve found that a universal programming procedure is to unplug the module and plug it back it and then immediately press a button on the remote and it’ll link. I’m assuming this won’t work. Would’ve been nice of the previous owner to keep the manual for the remote system…
