I don’t believe it is. I didn’t see any sensors by the camshaft.
Ok. No i do not have an aftermarket distributor. It looks like the one that came with the car. I was reading on another website and it said that the TDC sensor was another name for the crankshaft position sensor. If that’s the case than the TDC sensor is

This is one of the websites i found where the location of the TDC sensor. I understand it is a 96 but 94-97 accords have the same design so i didn’t think that it would be much diffNo sir. That’s not my engine. That looks like the engine thats in the honda odysseys. From what i’ve seen so far online, i believe that its right beside the crank shaft.
I found the culprit. I took My timing covers off along with the balance shaft belt. I found that the sensor to the left of the crankshaft was extremely loose and was rattling. I bolted it back on. Thanks for all the help. Hope I can help somebody in the f

Also today, as i was driving today, when i was merging onto the interstate it started to hesitate real bad and started jerking. I then let off the gas and eased back on it and it went fine. It drove fine all the way home smooth after that. I hope this cAlso I must add that my timing belt was changed 3000 miles ago.

Ok thanks Eric. Your the best! Also scottykilmer told me from his experiences, the solenoids on honda go out quite frequently.
Ok. I’ve cleared the code and I will replace it the fluid for the 3rd time. I’ve changed it twice in the past 2 months. But after I change it I will check the solenoid out. By the way Eric, which solenoid would be the TCC solenoid? I know that there is 2 solenoids on my transmission. Would it be the lock-up solenoid?
Should I erase it to see if it comes back?
1997 honda accord lx non vtec. 4 cylinder engine. 173000 miles. Maintenanced regularly.
I know this is late but thank you! My car is running a lot more smoothly with the new ngk spark plugs in it.
