I think anything that helps the tech to solve problems is good
it cost to subscribe, but this would cost you more in the long run, getting schematics, service bulletins ect
and the time it takes to search for information is considerable

i was in the tv trade for 20 years ,and in europe we have a company in Germany, called Euras,
Costs around €20 per month, but it was well worth it, for free service manuals, tech bulletins, common faults,
idenifix is similar, i looked into it, but its not relevant to Ireland

I can understand how you feel
I was in the television repair trade for about 20 years, before that i was a mechanic, and now back doing auto electrics,
its the same in the tv trade, i might make a few quid today, to find its back the next day, with the customer looking for a refund, or worse, could be a pcb that costs more than the unit is worth,
also when i do repair, the customer might leave them with me for a year or more and expect the tv to be still there

I also did a fuel pressure test, about 50 psi, and when I switched off the engine, the pressure stayed at 50psi, it did not drop, If an ejector was dripping, would the pressure drop?
but as my fault is intermittent, I would have to do this test with the fault present

Air filter is clean, but the injector is a possibility, but as soon as I set up to test, its working
                              Thanks for your reply

                                  My name is Leonard
                                  I live in Ireland
I work at my fathers garage in my early days, mostly mechanical work at the beginning,
then I move on to auto electrics
In the early 80’s the electrics were basic stuff, no computors or o2 sensors to worry about
I then went on to the electronic repair business, mostly repairing televisions and cameras to component level.
while I could take out an ecu, and remove the surface mounted components no problem,
I find myself back where I started, auto repairs, and I find I am a little rusty here
