i noticed when i added some oil my rpm reached 5500. i tried going to 6k rpm but it started bogging. but then the problem persisted to 4k rpm again.
well i checked the timing it was good on the cams. Not sure about ignition? Can you send me a link how to adjust that? im pretty sure you can turn the dizzy to set ignition timing. cause my engine is dual cam
i did this test rpm wouldnt go over 2k rpm. This is what happens when im driving and i floor the gas peddle/try going up to 4k rpm, it doesnt go higher it stays there and hesitates as if the car reached max speed.
If you getting a catalytic converter code and stalling happens and starts up when it cools off its the catalytic converter clogged when its hot. And if you hear a rattling sound near the engine bay then yes your converter went bad. Any codes with the sensors, convert, then theres ur culprit. Happened to me and switched it out and it solved stalling.
