no, thank you eric!! and sorry for being 2 weeks late!
okay, so i’m gonna start working on it tonight for a bit. what should the name be, eric? and i think the group page should be locked so not ANYBODY can just simply join. who knows what might happen if that was allowed. so for the name. how about just “ETCG” or “ETCG FanPage”? i’ll set the group as “closed” so people who are interested can send in requests to the admins so they can join.

on my car (’04 maxima), i have 3 catalytic converters. the first two at the exhaust manifold are monitored by o2 sensors, the one in the y-pipe (part of the exhaust) isn’t. if the catalytic materials crumbled, broken off, my exhaust would be pretty much clogged up, trapping exhaust gas in the exhaust. if you have a similar set up, you really should look into changing it.

all right Eric awesome! i’ll have it set up and post the link here and we’ll go from there. it might take a bit of time since i’ve never done this and i am not so much as an “expert” user of facebook, but i’ll figure it out : – )

sounds more like an electrical issue than mechanical. other then that, i’m totally stumped on the problem myself : – /

it sounds like you just need to do a clear inspection of the suspension components. with 190k miles on the vehicle, it probably is time to replacing a good bit of ’em. do you have any premature tire wear? that is a clear indication of a bad alignment. see if any boots are torn like on the outer tie-rods, axles, struts. to see if a wheel bearing is going bad, raise the vehicle, with the wheel still on, and grab the wheel from the 3oclock and 9oclock position and shake it back and forth. if there is a fair amount of play, those will need to replaced soon.

great find with the video! i personally like the idea of bleeding the brakes with an extra person to press/release the brake pedal.
