what about blue fumes coming from the exhaust? anything like that?
but if the oil is full and you check it twice a week, no leaks either, it could be very well the oil sensor is glitching up, but yeah, the only other thing i can think of the oil is maybe slowly burning in the combustion process

i don’t think a full kit is required just to give the injectors cleaning. i use seaform once or twice a year which cleans fuel injectors

have you checked the oil dipstick readings? the oil light usually means low oil. any leaks from the bottom of the engine? oil pan? oil cooler?

i don’t know if the control arm bushings themselves leak. i’ve looked at the service manual on the maxima and it doesn’t say to check for leaks of any sort on inspecting on the control arms. i know they’re different cars, but a lot of the components are also shared.
i would just replace the control arm assembly with the ball joint and call it done. i plan on doing this to my maxima in the spring.

college man, how do you know there is something wrong with the wiring? what about the possibility of the thermostat being stuck open due to a mechanical malfunction?
