Took to dealer and paid the $130 for them to diagnose. All blend doors are functioning properly. They told me that the compressor is leaking. After it sits for a while, A/C blows 45 degrees cold for a while but then starts blowing around 85degrees. Would that be consistent with a leaking compressor?
What is a servo and where is it located? I only changed the blend door actuator. The blend door actuator was held in by 2 screws and an electrical connector. Thanks
Temperature randomly changes from cold to hot with no warning. When it is cold it is very cold(45 degrees) but when you cut car off and restart rarely is it cold. After a restart it blows at 90 degrees. Have replaced blend doors and that did not seem to help. Blows same temp out of all vents(front, back, left and right). When it is blowing cold sometimes it randomly switches to heat when nothing was done to temperature settings.
Here’s how the day went. Went to lunch to take care of some business. A/C blew ice cold the whole ride to bank. Came out of bank after about 20 minutes and A/C blew 90 degrees the rest of way back to work. Got home, unhooked battery for over 2 hours. Ran to store and now does nothing but blow 90 degrees after having battery unhooked. Any more suggestions and thanks in advance.
