yea, i let it soak (just the valve) for a few seconds in 4-in1 cleaner…works as well with varnish and grime aas carb cleaner does, but doesnt destroy rubber…. made no difference :/

Your signature is humorous with your last sentence lol. But you are very right, i never considered the computer. if we get stuck with nothing to do we’ll give it a shot and see what happens. thanks for the input!

Its kind of appalling how manufacturing companies, of any kind be it automotive or not, purposely produce faulty products that they intend for you to take to the dealer to have fixed, usually just after a warranty runs out. Brake pads are the best example

They can be safer in some instances too. if its winter time, you can put sandbags, or even cat litter in the back and this can almost negate the need for 4wd in some parts of the country….and when summer rolls around an empty bed and a dirty road makes for some interesting, and fun low traction practice – BE CAREFUL

Got my dash taken apart. ive heard people say (along with the internet) that you can put a 1.5v battery, be it 2A or 3A , to the terminals and it will at least move…ive tried 1,2,and 3 batteries in series, switch the polarity after one attempt with each, and did it all again…i got nothing. i can safely say that my gauge is dead, time for an after market one!

So i got a new valve in it, got it pretty cheap too so i hope it lasts, gotta love u-pull and pay. it runs great now! the old one was bowed out from too much pressure it seems. my gas guage is still broken on both tanks though, it moves up a tiny bit but not past the E. so im gonna get a multimeter back there and play with it for a little bit and see what happens
