Thanks ErictheCarGuy you rock!! I’ll have to consider all possibilities for sure.

I have a new IAC Valve. It erases engine values related to IAC if you disconnect the battery at all.

to relearn these values,I’ve read on a post that for this engine(Lh0) you need to
      #1:Turn off all AC
#2:Block wheels And Apply Parking brake, shift to drive, run for 10 minutes no throttle,
      #3 (Repeat #2 but 5 minutes of run time,not 10)

Seemed to work fine when i did this work a couple months ago ๐Ÿ™‚
Everything runs fine. As I Replace parts, thing tend to be running smoother ๐Ÿ™‚ I just want it to to run perfect…

Would 2 Fuel injection o-ring stacked on top of each other work? The seem to be the perfect size to fit over the valve cover bolt. This would only be temporary until I can get actually valve cover grommets. Any input?

How your belt tentioner mechanism? Can you get 3/8 drive ratchet into to test it or is it a tight fit? If so belt tentioner tool time. Check if the mechanism apply’s pressure to belt when let go buy you can still move it to lossen, Should feel springy.

If a tire/tires are defective, what would be my best course of action? They are warrantied to 100,000km and I did start having the issue shortly after switching to the new tires. They are ‘Weathermaxx'(by Nexen) all season tires and I went back in for the re-torque after 150km so my warranty is still good.

If I bring the car back in and the tires/tire is defective, will a balancing machine detect a problem?
                      What would you do?

I shaked the wheel and it seems ok. Brake pads are moving slightly when I rotate the wheel, is that normal? Also there is no oil leaking from suspension, when I brake(Even Slightly) there is a ‘rubbing noise’ sounds like rust rubbing up again a surface…

No steering issue or noises, only vibrations at higher speeds. Steering feels perfectly even going left or right. Shifts between gear very smooth. Seeming like pad, rotors, or calipers….. I’ll do the hammer test soon and wiggle the wheel but they seem solid.

Can I just get Pronto Rotors & Bendix Semi-Metalic Pads? I know they aren’t a matching set but they are both under the “Economy” Section. I just really don’t want ceramics……

Ok thanks for the info. Ya I can get rotors and pads for standard trim Sunbird’s. If I get ecomomy parts I should be good right? The only kit offered has ceramic brake pads. I was going to get semi-metallic, whats better?

Ok I hear you Beaird. I sounds like I shouldn’t mess with the intake manifold until there’s a issue or 170,000km. This engine doesn’t seem that hard to do a intake gasket on this engine in comparison to ericthecarguy Nissin 2.4L, wow!!!
