          Update:
Tested the connection on the fuel pump (with a test light) with it running and it lost power, then the truck died. I am thinking either a relay is went/ going bad or maybe a sensor telling it cut off. Help

Not the answer your looking for, but another thing to check is you oil pressure switch I found this to be a problem a older 350 in a 94 pickup with similar problem.

No airtex, but I did put a Delphi FG0053 Fuel Pump Module in. I done this because the fuel gauge did not read right because of the ” wiper thing (sorry not technical name ) attachted to float was bad. I don’t drive this truck much it is kinda just a old farm truck that I keep tagged, so that was big issue.

I did have to splice some wires for this fuel pump, so I am thinking a wire maybe coming undone. My plan is to solder them this time then so they can’t come undone.

Is there any checks I should do before I have up pick the bed?

I found out why my truck quits, it is because it losses fuel pressure. It run fine at 50 psi then after a few second/ minutes it just drops in fuel pressure after about 15 psi it dies. I have put a new fuel pump in, but that has been a few months ago.

Now I got out figure out why my just loses pressure.

I know. Want I am wanting is a good HID conversion kit that has the right projection. I plan on replacing the headlight housing anyway.

No,the reason I changed my thermostat was the heater was not really putting out hot air just luke warm. I done this on a chevy truck 1996 350 and it helped but it is still not very hot. The temp sensor does work like always says it is about the same temp. I also tried this on a festiva but it made it worse because the heater never gets warm and the motor temp sensor never get much above cold don’t matter how long I run it never gets warm
