Yea it caused the HVAC to default to defrost and the EGR system stopped working and threw a CEL with a P0401 code. Autozone tried to sell me a new EGR valve, to troubleshoot it I just hooked a piece of vacuum hose to the EGR valve with the engine running and sucked on it to open the valve and the engine stalled out which told me the valve was fine. Then I found the 5 bad vac lines behind the battery. Then spent a day and a half dissembling my truck to replace the krusty vac lines. This is why I dislike fords.

does it have an aftermarket security system? Some of them disable the vehicle by intercepting the power to the fuel pump and if it is fried it could explain all the issues your having.
Yes but not the worst I have seen. One time I was walking through a walmart parking lot and saw a couple with about 40 empty 1 quart oil bottles around a Honda Civic and was curious so I stopped and asked what was up and they informed me that the oil light had come on so they decided to “fill it back up” turns out they had kept adding oil until it was literally full up to the top of the filler neck. I told them if they started that engine it would probably explode and told them to call a tow truck and get all of the oil drained and the low oil pressure diagnosed by a mechanic and the oil light does not mean it’s low on oil but low on oil pressure. I don’t think they got it ….. but at least I tried.
the gauge may have an internal grounding issue. Check the voltage drop across the gauge terminals.
When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced?
get a 2 quart pitcher… fill it up with oil out of the pan 1.5 times… get correct dipstick… problem solved.
short version….. yes.
when you replaced the pump did you also replace the fuel filter…. it could simply be clogged.
