Manufacturers rec premium in certain cars for a few reasons 2 i know off the top of my head are fuel economy and to prevent pre ignition or detonation idk about your specific car but i always just follow what the car makers say just to be on the safe side even though you may be ok with mid grade.

well if your wires melted the first thing I would check is the wires ability to carry a load the wire might be too damaged to carry a load. The wire that melted was your positive cable to the starter right? and if that’s all good make sure the starter has a nice clean mating point to the bell housing sometimes crud and oil can get in between and cause a poor ground.

I am assuming transmutation is transmission and im also assuming that you said it ran after you installed it but now its not running and you have no power anywhere?

mostly your evap hoses make sure they are all connected, and none are broken in half, also check your gas cap o-ring that’s some of the simple places id start, I talked to my buddy whos a Toyota tech and he said its very rare but he’s seen the fuel pump o ring cause this code, kinda limited on what you can do unless you have a smoke machine. unless someone else knows a different way to check this stuff.

id say to pull the calipers off and pull the slides and clean and install some sil glyde to the slides sounds like they are hanging up a little probably lack of lube or the grease getting a little cold that would be my guess at this point.

Yea i like wearing them for a couple reasons one when i get done with a repair i can just take them off and take the vehicle out with out washing my hands and 2 it protects my already rough hands from the harmfull chemicals ive been using for a few years gloveless now lol. Not to mention it saves me clean up time at the end of the day
