the bad alternator may have killed the battery.
try to recharge it.then have it load tested at
an auto part store.
load test the alternator?

i went to autozone and recharged the battery, place it in, and it turned over fine.
Pulled the terminal it died. I noticed on my fuse box, the battery 80a fuse is blown. So i went back and bought another and screwed it in. Turned it on and it drove fine. Drove it around the block. Autozone told me NOT to be pulling the terminal to test the alternator. So should my problem be fixed? all light work, no battery light, no check engine light.

Ok Eric, got the codes fixed, no more check engine light, alternator somehow went bad but it was a brand new one from autozone of course, swapped it for oem honda, bam started right up. Today took it around the block no problem, the rest of the day i didnt start it at all. Just now, it started but it slowly slowly started draining the battery or something but some reason, headlights, radio, cluster, dome light, all started fading slowly until it finally lost idle and died. No battery light, no check engine light….any ideas?

yes i swapped my engine out so honda delaership was too far to walk and no one to give me a ride. Autozone is on the next street over. when i got there, they only carry auto tranny fluid. They looked it up and said, use 10w30. I was a lube tech at Honda and never heard of anyhting like that. So thats why i asked. Maybe its a veteran mechanic trick from the ol’ days. Well it shifts pretty rough… got me to work though. Now i gotta figure a way to fix three codes. 1,14,6. =[

things changed eric. sorry for the bother im sure yall really busy trying to answer everyone question. ill be patient and wait.

changed the msd ignition distributor to B16a2 OEM distributor. Ran PERFECT… then couple days of driving to work, code 9 came on. Cylinder Position Sensor. Distributor timing and engine timing are all set. now with that code, wont rev over 7000ish. Could it be the chipped ecu im running? maybe burned out already and trying to run single cam base map?
