Bought my TiAl blow of valve. 50 mm of course with FREE INTERCOOLER!! cant beat free. Seller had BOV attached and no tools to remove so he just gave it to me. Itsa lil small for my goals but idk, maybe good for a daily weekend warrior.

first time applying AN fittings on steel braid.

1st coat of paint. Using rattle can. Honestly, i lost motivation on the engine bay due to long hours of just sanding. Professional paint just not worth it to me on a 22 year old car when rest of car isnt top notch so heres what it looks like with first coat, then a couple after. Alotof imperfections showing but oh well, got more to spend money on than an engine bay. :blush:

still looks way way better than it did before so i guess it was sorta worth it.

Got bored last weekend and painted a large Spoon logo on a canvas i had laying around since highschool, used oil pastel for black and red and white spray paint for background. Hung it next to a Spoon vanity plate and my windshield banner. I didt punch holes through it so relax peeps.

Sorry i left for so long… last year in octoberish i bought a 1992 Civic Si Captiva Blue from a friend. I I drifted away from the Green SI and took parts to complete this SI. i personally preffer a Blue car over green.

Ok well I got it settled. My friend came over and looked over things. Plugged hondata ecu in… after a couple of minutes of diagnosis, he noticed my plug firing order was wrong. Started right up. He drove a hour one way to tell me that. It was definitely flooded but after I unflooded and let it dry I put the plugs back in and plugs wires were placed incorrectly so that’s why I couldn’t get it to start. Thanks guys for everything. There might be another issue regarding the valve seals I’m getting smoke from the valve cover breather. Time to start researching and figure that out too. Thanks ETCG

Havent don’t wet test but I’m pretty sure chambers were dry. Left them open overnight again, air dried with compressor, put the plugs back in and without injectors clipped on, cranked it. Pulled the plugs and they were dry. Connected injectors and tried again with pedal all the way down and when I cranked it seemed like there’s still fuel going in. Is that normal? I thought on deflood mode it’d cut fuel to the injectors. Maybe an ecu issue since it is chipped and vtec converted?
