we have continued to top off the reservoir as the air was purged out…reservoir now stays full after the last three times driving it…radiator full as well. still no heat! Not sure what to do next…drain everything and start over?
thanks..have watched the videos…tried last night to get air out of system for over an hour…still no heat…heat out of vents would get warm for a couple seconds and then back cold again. often warmer on the passenger side than the drivers side. every time the car is driven somewhere and then back home, we get back home and the coolant reservoir tank is empty. the cap for the reservoir has a hose coming out that is hooked to nothing…is it purging the air out on its own, should i just keep filling the reservoir and it will resolve itself eventually or am i doomed and i should take it to a mechanic? thanks for all your help

i understand what you are saying but the system is already full…how do we purge air out of it…is that why there is no heat. or do we drain and start over?
