in my opinion tata is the worst make that i have been told to stay away from, i drive a skoda personally and they are very good. provided that you do routine maintenance regularly you shouldnt have any problems, i never driven a Honda personally but i hear from my friends that they are good and would not trade them for anything. my brother has hyundai and he loves it.
Glad you sorted it out 🙂
Are the 190k miles? If so its a bit high i would say if you want it to run for a long time, if they are km i will buy it if its had good maintenance
No type of oil can make bad synchros good i have the same issue with my car, i just carefully shift slowly and double clutch
I would say some part is really not happy in that engine, i would replace it with a used one
Haynes manual is a must if you are a DIY and especially for torque specs
Personally i put an engine flush that is an oil with a lot of detergents and drive the car for 200km ( i cant remember the name) that way im flushing the engine slowly while its still lubricated
You didnt hear any knocking noise right ?
Does it still make noise?
In my opinion if it was taken care of i would consider it, maybe lower the prive a bit more, if the body has no rust thats a very encouraging sign
Is the hose the correct size, maybe its slightly bigger? Had that issue on my car
It makes the piston go in easily, i usually replace rotors theyre not worth the hassle to turn them, they are inexpensive generally, but if you have enough meat left you can get them turned
I would say replace them is the best option, but you can turn them if they have enough material left in them
Glad you sorted it out, i too thought it was strange 🙂
Can you pinpoint exactly where the noose is coming from ? Maybe from the water pump ? Do you see any drips on the floor of coolant ?
