Did you check for spark on each plug wire? Each ignition coil pack has 2 plug wires check for spark on each wire. Check resistance on the plug wires themselves. Check the coil packs also.Good write up here, http://easyautodiagnostics.com/gm/3.1L-3.4L/ignition-coil-pack-tests-1

For troubleshooting purposes I would disable the remote start. See if the issue comes back or has been eliminated
Do you know the brand of the remote start?
The remote start must be installed separate from the anti theft in your car..

How long has it been since cap and rotor were changed? Have you replaced the plug wires and are they seated correctly?

              Have you checked pickup coil.

When it happens again can you pull the distributor cap off and look to see if theres any moisture.

The items you describe that don’t work tells me the alternator has failed.

Basically you have to pop the clutch because the alternator is not charging the battery.New alternator time.

I agree first thing would be to bleed the brakes.
If your doing it yourself remember to disconnect the vacuum line at master cylinder first.
Start at back right then back left then front right, then finally front left.
You will need someone with you to do it.

Since this is a fuel injection system it is working correctly.

If you turn the key to position before starting the vehicle this will tell the fuel pump relay to come on and supply fuel to the engine. You should hear a whirring noise when you do this from the fuel tank.
Once you start the car you will have constant pressure.

First I would like to say that the price you quoted is OUTRAGEOUS. That’s like $800us.

It should be fine as long as you turned the vechile off right away. Is you car the sohc or dohc?
