Just an UPDATED just truck has now started stalling again..as soon as the temperatures start dropping..i did the engine scan..no codes came up…coolant temp, TPS , Map, o2 , iat sensors seem like normal readings to me..the fuel system is in closed mode….only thing that seems weird to me is that the short term and long term fuel trim reading are in the negative both on cold engine and a fully warmed up engine…when engine fully warms up its less likely to stall..but will shudder on stopping once in while…other wise it will drive normal..? i will probably change the iac valve and pcv and see what happens…

November 10, 2014 at 5:58 am in reply to: 2005 Dodge Ram right rear turn signal not flashing #632602just to UPDATE I bought one of those red LED 12inch light strips and installed on the tail light and hooked up to the now working trailer harness as temporary fix to avoid a ticket.. I need to now concentrate on the stalling issue in the cold since winter coming soon… 🙁

just watched Solving Electrical Problems Acura Vigor…and remembered this is not the first time a electrical problem with lights has happened… the park lights fail to turn on with headlight switch…the mechanic who sold me the vehicle had jumped the relay pins 12v cons. to the lights strait and put in a toggle switch.. I’m thinking something around this fuse box has failed again.. as in your acura..i will recheck the fuses the way you did next..and see if there control module somewhere there….thanks for video…

the trailer harness connector was completely corroded…i had to cut the wires off back a few inches to even get power…but i also had to install a fuse in the fuse box under the hood to get that trailer harness working… i noticed all wires do come to through one harness to back of truck..should i be using a test light for kind of problem? i’ve been using a multimeter for testing..and it confusing me…

i did not replace the IAC .. i cleaned it and lubricated it and put it back in..should i have replaced it? …i only replaced throttle position sensor… i will scan it next, then check for vacuum leaks…

there is no check engine light ..but i do have a scanner that can do live data…i will do it soon..like said it only acts up in cold weather…

no i haven’t checked for power before the socket…i checked for power at the main connector pins at tail light circuit board…thanks for the links ..i saw there might be control module problem near the fuse box or a fuse box problem…i may look into this…i’m also unsure if the lights are positive activated or negative activated? i want to temporary jump it with trailer light wire so i can at least have a working light…
