Well just like we are doing now. I always look at reviews of Harbor freight tools before I buy something from them. I wont buy their normal wrenches, extensions and screw drivers at all. I have lots of their sockets and they work just as good as craftsman in my opinion. It just depends on the tool to me. Read the reviews and see what others who have tried them say first.

I just received my actron 9580 that I ordered off ebay for $89($250 at autozone). Also swung by Harbor freight and picked up a snap ring pliers set, a florescent drop light, and a 1/2 drive torque wrench for lugs and stuff.

I would just get what you need from harbor freight if its sockets. I have lots of sockets from harbor freight and haven’t had any issues. They are nice high visibility to. Some people have had issues with wrenches though so I stay away from those. Oh and their screw drivers aren’t the most durable either. I would look at the reviews on the products you are looking on their website first before committing. I use all different brands, mostly craftsman when I can get them cheap or used. Just look at reviews or for use quality stuff and you can save some bucks big time.
By the way I just did the same thing and I have to replace some sockets and a few wrenches. Going to harbor freight for the sockets and sears for the wrenches.
Good luck man.
