Cannot awnser if there is a body module reset on this. Mine was the actuator and I have seen many post on these but you should always test for power/ ground/ control. That being said 1a auto has a replacement video for the sliding doors if you need one.

Below is copy pasted from another forum. Not sure if it is the same as your jeep but may lead you in right direction.

“It’s on the passenger side of the radiator, towards the bottom of the passenger side end cap. It points towards the passenger fender (not towards the firewall.. just to give you an exact idea of where it is).
I vaguely remember that I had to take out my passenger side headlight surround and maybe the headlight too in order to get to it easily. It’s not too hard to pull the surround, I think there’s four phillips screws (if even that, maybe just two) and then it pops out. I don’t think the headlight had to come out too, but I did my water pump a year and a half ago and don’t really remember.”

Also with that said, it maybe easier to pull lower radiator hose as opposed to fighting to get petcock and it being gummed up and breaking. ??

Replacing door lock actuator when OE fails.

Same question in regards to weak fuel pump. Why on cold start is all well.

If it was check valve. Why would it start fine on complete cold start and only give problems after being drove and shut off for “awhile”
I may not be reading complaint right.

If head gasket, they have been known to spray more like old faithful. As far as water pump, is it leaking, take off belt and try to turn pulley by hand. to see if pump is locked up.

Depending on the amount of gushing. If it is spraying and overheating. You may have bad head gasket. If its is just overflowing out, that could be normal expansion. Does your car have bleeder screws. If so, open those when you feel it. You can start it running and close those when coolant comes out also.

Most parts stores will do a free check on battery and alternator. Might start there.

I would agree with the intake gasket. I have had this problem on 2 vehicles. A 99 Windstar and a 99 Monte Carlo, both were intake gasket leaks. When the coolant got hot enough in my Monte Carlo, it pushed more of the crap into my my overflow to the point it looked like someone threw up in it. Also classic crusties on the radiator cap. Block tested the Monte and passed. Then pulled the intake and there it all was.

Known failure on that vintage of caravans, I have an 06 with the driver sliding door that does not work anymore. Take panel off and activate and look for your screeching noise.

Stud was on top of plenum.

For those interested. It could only reasonably reach the 1st stud bolt on top of the cylinder 1 and when looking at witness mark, there was a circle on the bottom for the stud and an oval on top from the bracket coming from the alternator. Thanks for ideas. I thought about it yesterday and figured I would post, however it was pretty plane to see when I was back at car.

Not really, when braking it stops great highway or town during brake application and slow down. When I am almost to complete stop, it feels as if the left front caliper grabs last minute but it does not pull. Just almost like light grind sound and hesitation or jerk feeling. Hard to explain. Very minimal and only right before stop sign but clearly from left front wheel.

I will do that. This does not have a long cable and cannot travel very far from plenum or alternator because of short leash. With the metal bracket connecting the two. Would it really matter which side I ground. I know that this did not come off the block, head or firewall.
