FOCUS UPDATE! Well that small problem is now on hold for a while. I had the center console taken out and some of the air vents, did it in my spare time. While on the way to work this morning, a deer ran out in front of me now my car is at the body shop! You never know whats gonna happen until it happens sometimes.

Yeah I did that, even went as far as taking that assembly off. It is the bottom arm of that system that is attached to the heater core box itself that is sticking. So do I replace just that arm or take my entire dash off?

It is very easy to get into trouble on the trucks that’s for sure! Personally I prefer my sockets from sears and most of my other hand tools from the trucks. When it comes to things like ratchets, extensions etc, there is no comparison The tool truck brands are king. When it comes to Snappy, Ebay and Craigslist are my best friend.

Went on the Matco truck and bought a thread chasing kit and a pair of ratcheting hose clamp pliers. With those pliers its like you have a 3rd arm!

                      For moparfan7008,
                      1. Camanche Iowa, 52730
                      2. Stock
                      3. Re-manufactured
                      4. At least a year/12,000 miles
                      5. Would like to stay under $2000
                      6. Long
                      7. Re-manufactured
                      8. If it were me, Id take a chance on a salvage yard engine cuz yeah the car only Blue Books at around $2000 however Id be doing the engine swap on this car for a family member and they are of the opinion that you cant trust junkyard engines. Believe me Ive tried to sway this opinion, even found some salvage yards that offer a year warranty on engines but all was for not. At the end of they day it isn’t my car or money Im just doing the work. Stupid to put all that money into it yes but hey what can ya do?

I completely agree with drthrift035. Its a tool box not your hand tools! It should be big enough to hold all of your tools and should definitely lock! Beyond that who cares? Put money into your tools not the box. If you must have one of the big name boxes, check craigslist or see what the tool truck guy has that has been traded. you can get some very good deals from those places. I mean really, if your box cost the same as or more than, your car you must be better with money than I am.
