      hi guys
      sorry have not came back with any updates, but as i done have the use of a garage and the weather has turned bad, have not had a change to check out your suggestions but dont worry will update once i have any news

              thanks for your prompt reply. right i have a 300c and the readings are
              1—sft bank 1 -3.1 to 2.3%
              2—lft bank 1 4.7%
              3—sft bank 2 -2.3 to 2.3%
              4—lft bank 2 10.9%
              5—02 b1s1 0.03 to 0.84v
              6—02 b1s2 0.7 steadyv
              7—02 b2s1 0.05 to 0.86v
              8—02 b2s2 0.7 steadyv
              hope this gives you some clues, if there is any other test that i might do to help please let me know. I dont have the equipment to test fuel pressure, but there is only 40,000 miles on my car and has a full service history, spark plugs have not been changed yet dont know to go by the miles or time

                  only recently came across your site and think what you are doing here is simply great just a word on your trans overhaul i use to work at plant trans overhauls which are about 4 times bigger but the same construction and i remember you saying that the old trans discs you removed did not look in to bad a shape the best way to check a worn disc is put all the discs and plate from one pack and measure the overall thickness and then compare this to a new pack
