No plugs were left on the cap came with the new radiator. I’m calling Denso tomorrow to ask for a new cap, i just cant figure out what wrong. Very frustrating.
One smytom I forgot to mention was on a few occains the overflow container was full of coolant.Somehow it was not getting back into the radiator.
Thanks againFrom my personal experience disconnecting the battery and letting the computer reset is the way to go. Many people have no luck with these so called drive cycles. In fact many techs at the dealerships call drive cycles bull.
Many inexpensive OBDll code readers can read when websites are ready for smog. Good luckIn the past 3 years I’ve replaced cal cats on 2 cars. Manufactures were Walker and Eastern. Unfortunately I cannot endorse either manufacture. Both cars 2000 civics.
I did the 3 time drain and fill on a 2000 civic with very dirty fluid. In the end fluid looked like brand new on the dip stick
I had the same problem in the State of CA. I pulled the battery cable left it off for about 5 minutes. Theory behind that is sort of like rebooting a computer. Anyway after driving for about a week all sensors responded properly and passed smog. I personally don’t subscribe to the drive cycle stuff. Many techs at dealership say its bunk. Some do however get lucky with the drive cycles, but not many.
I agree with the Beck arnley brand. I purchased a civic distributor from B.A. and it appears to be a Honda part. Also I replaced a master cylinder on a civic with a B.A. part and it had HONDA written on the master just like the original.
Thanks
Makes sense to meThanks for your assistance. I had the a/c set on recirculate when I was testing which I later learned that Eric does not recommend. I did think the compressor was often going on and off. Next warm day I will retest.

I was not able to open the top tier link, however Costco pumps display signage of top tier gas.
As mentioned previously and somewhat inexpensive a head gasket leak test.
Check for brake fluid leaks and condition of pads. Bleed the brakes if it does not work better most likely a master cylinder problem. Not to difficult, did my first master cylinder on my civic last year. Lots of really good videos on youtube.
Great news my 03 sonata had the stalling while driving issue dam those cars for the crappie cps sensor.
If your going to do a water pump consider timing belt and crank shaft position sensor if due for replacement.
