If the NEW GASKET NEEDED SEALER, wouldn’t Felpro have instructions with the gasket stating “You need to smear sealant on me before use.?” College man , I have a new gasket and your suggestion makes the most sense . Why would you go faster that 45 with tire chains. Remember you are now riding on steel .Yes you can go as fast as you want and if they don’t come off and tear your vehicle up you also wont be able to stop. However you come to the right place for answers. Good luck. Also not sure about all 4 wheels . If you have a pick up truck you could put some sand bags in the front of the truck bed ,.

Battle you say .Thats hitting the nail on the head brother lol. Thanks much I will also try that .I may be able to use a block of wood for a folcrum If I can place it on a safe place . This thing is a night mare as with probably most v/6’s. Thanks again .

That’s it ,yes that is the bracket .I thank you .I will proceed with that idea. The more I work on this the more $700 dollars for having it done doesn’t sound as bad after all. Any one can hit a golf ball,It’s making it go where it should is the hard part.

Hi Moe 1995 and thanks for your reply . Since this post I have been watching some video’s of Eric’s . The misfire could be caused also by a vacuum leak . Just one more thing I can check for . I appreciate your input . Sorry yours wasn’t a easy fix . And your right about not going to a dealer ,now your talking about thousand’s of dollars lol.!

the point gap calls for . .016 cranked engine so the plastic thing on points were on top of lobe then closed points on feeler guage just enough so guage was snug but not too tight .Im tempted to advance the timing,, one mark on the distributer
