        Hey.

So instead of creating a new topic about my Caliper i edited the Title of this one since i mentioned it here.

The pulling issue is no longer an issue. Need to get a alignment before i can make any guesses.

Had a go at trying to fix the issue with my stuck caliper slider guide (Im calling it this not knowing if its the correct term but it is what guides the slide pin.) I have attached an image for reference. Now i have tried pulling on this, giving it a couple of knocks pretty much everything but heating it with a blow torch.

I have seen plenty of caliper re build videos and ETCG dissection one. None seem to address this issue though or using a repair kit on the slider.

As you can see from the image the slider is pulled all the way to one side which is stopping it from moving. Probably caused by letting the pads get too low. Ive heard some word that you need some decent tools to be able to change over these guys once you actually get them out.

Any help or advise is welcome.

Actually the busted slide on the caliper is having the opposite effect. It is jammed in place so only the rear side of the caliper is engaging the disc. The front pad was still brand new. I discovered this when i changed my pads last week. The side without an issue had worn pads near empty and the side with the issue had the rear side of the caliper pad worn slightly, maybe half way and the front pad not even touched.
Worst thing about this is that a mechanic actually changed my pads last and never mentioned this. And since the front side pad was still new it must have been an issue when he did them.

No real vibrations. Its hard to tell here in Malta. We have some of the worst roads in europe 😆 .

Thanks for the reply. End of the month will be installing new calipers and discs as they are about 15 years old on this vehicle So could do with a change. The thought of something getting bent is top of the list. Trying to figure out what it could be before taking it in. Mechanics over here charge an arm and a leg just to diagnose a problem and labor charges are normally pretty high as well. So if taking it in i always try to diagnose the problem first.

                    Thanks again.
