i had a similar problem with my car a 97 honda accord se and it would act like it was red lining at about the same point turned out to be the crank position sensor had it replaced when i had my timing belt done car hasn’t not done it since

Thanks do the transmissions in my year have a filter or screen in them if so where would it be located?
