Yes used hondas full synthetic auto trans fluid and yeah kept and eye on it for a good while still at the right level just black and full of material 🙁 it works great until it heats up after 2 hrs and I’ve looked quite a bit and it’s a frequent problem with these transmissions cause they have to carry so much weight for how small it is ,and some people put coolers on them right away cause earlyer ones had the same problem but if I havnt removed too much material I was thinking a 3 gallon flush again prolly not with honda just cost too much I’ll use some generic full synthetic it’s what honda recommends if you cant get it from a deal . from the line and fill again .And a cooler cause it still drives around just if i drive for too long it starts slippin like a hour and a half . I know its prolly not gonna fix it but if I can keep the fluid cool it will keep driving

Sorry it took so long no one else had a noid kit so I ordered 1 and yeah no flashes or blinks from the noid light 🙁 so cam and crank sensors?? I’ve checked all fuses… would a maf sensor be a problem with injector pulse in this car I did have to put a new male connection on for the sensor because the wires were crusty didn’t replace the sensor though . Just trying to narrow it down ….

i dont think so because when i take off the drive shaft and put it in drive it spins up the transfer case output shaft but when i put it back on the truck it will not spin the drive shaft

ok im thinking its my flex plate hitting my crank postion sensor does anyone know how close the cps is the the flex plate because when i was bolting up the torque converter there are the square holes on the side and i used a flat head to turn the flex plate to line the bolt holes for the torque converter and i might have bent those outwards thats the only thing that really changed i thought it would be fine but it might not be if the clearance of the flex plate and cps is super small

got a question for you now when i put into gear it takes about 30 seconds to go into gear now, It doesn’t stall anymore but when i go to a stop it takes another 30 seconds to go back into gear would this be a symptom of a clogged transmission filter , not giving enough pressure to the system in time. and it goes into gears just fine when shifting.

got some good news i fixed half of my problem using air filter gasket that connects to the intake it was cracked and busted replaced that noticed i was leaking a little fuel fixed that now i can put it into gear without bombing it into gear but it still wants to stall when i go to a stop halfway there

Before i take it to the trans shop i’m gonna replace idle air control sensor throttle position sensor and crank position sensor my cousin bought them and didn’t install them .I know the idle air control doesn’t work tested it with it plugged and unplugged and no change. And i was wondering if any of these could be the problem that i’m having. And if so would they give codes. Also the guy at auto zone told me i couldn’t buy a scan tool for my truck is this true???? Sorry for all the questions i’m just trying to rule stuff out before i go pay a bunch of money at a shop.
