Wow! Thanks a lot guys. This makes me feel a whole lot better and explains perfectly how to get my T belt on! Great job
I’m hearing I have to hold that rear camshaft pulley in place as I put the belt on, or I have to find the “sweet spot” so to say of the cam pulley where it will hold at the TDC position. ANy other ideas?

Thanks a lot boys! I changed the thermostat an it ran fine for a wekr so but eventually died. Its alright he didn’t take car of it! Thanks for all the help!

Yea but he let Dex-COOL sit in the system for like 10 years straight never changed it and it completely corroded the system out. I believe those blades on the water pump may also be corroded and not pumping coolant as efficiently.
I changed the thermostat and he says the engine isn’t heating anymore and he does seem to be getting heat pretty well. Hopefully it stays like that!

But my question is more along the lines of would the after market ngk distributor and wires create a problem? I would rather go aftermarket for the price, but if anybody has had an issue with aftermarket(ngk most likely) i will stay with oem.
