My 02 impala 3.4 is a ROCK!!! I bought it in 03 from Enterprise with 25k, I just turned over 379k. Its my daily driver, 160 miles a day, all hwy. Still getting 32mpg. original motor and trans. been using Amsoil Synthetic since day 1. I did the intake gasket at 150k and had a broken roller lifter at 300k. installed a new set of lifters and I’m still going. I’ve done normal maint. over time and am still on the original axles and fuel pump. I don’t drive it hard but still get it when I need too. I dont buy a new car every 4 yrs, so I take care and keep my cars long.
I love this car and motor, so much that I just got an 04 with 116k so when my baby finally goes, I have a replacement. I’m not trying to brag, but I love my dependable GM W-body 3400
