      Hi Eric,
      I have a 98 c1500 with the vortec 350.
I have an issue with my front tires wearing on the outermost edge. When I turn the wheels hard over, the front of the truck kind of hops from side-to-side. I don’t see any obviously broken suspension parts, and I have had it aligned, but it made no difference. I have replaced all tie rods and ball joints previously. It seems like there is too much camber while turning, but I could be wrong.
Good luck with Oliver, and stay dirty!

Hi Eric, I have a 1998 c1500 with the vortex 350, I’m having an issue with tire wear on the outer edge. I’ve had it realigned, but it did not help. Whenever I turn the wheel hard-over, the truck shimmies side-to-side (especially when the ground is wet). I’ve looked at the suspension, but I don’t notice anything obviously wrong. Was hoping you could point me in the right direction. Thanks again, happy new year, and stay dirty!

Hi Eric, I have a 1998 Chevrolet c1500 with the Vortec 350. I am having a problem with outside front tire wear. The front of the truck ‘hops’ around while making a hard-over turn either direction (especially when the ground is wet). I have had it aligned, to no avail. what would you recommend looking at? ball joints and tie rods have all been replaced. Happy new year, stay dirty!
          Automatic, extended cab, new tires
