I did not check the heater core hoses as I am not sure where they are located. Have not done any research on the location of the heater core hoses. Did not think it was a good question to ask you guys on the location without doing any research on it. Thats why i did not check. If you can point me in the right direction of location that would be awesome. Not sure what you mean by air emboli.
Thanks
hutch74So looking at these replys my top rad hose is pretty hot will my bottom hose is luke warm compared to the top one. I dont think its my thermostat as it was replace like 3 months ago when i had issues with over heating. When i replace my manifold gasket all was working fine. I recently replaced the rad as I hit a coyote about a month ago. Thought i had the system bleed out but i guess once the car cools done i will try bleeding it again and see what happens at that point. the car does come up to temp according to the dash gauge. It blows hot air but just takes awhile to get there and not as hot as it normally blows. Will post back my findings.
Thanks

Hutch74how do i know if i got the right keyless fob for my car I have googled it and does not tell me which fob i need to have the keyless entry. Another alternative is replace the door key lock with the current key to fit but how big of a job is this. Is it worth the time.
Thanks

Now i was wondering how to program a fob for my car so i don’t have to switch all the locks out. Picked up a couple of fobs from an auto wrecker but having problems programming them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hutch74The Sunfire is a 2003 and in mint condition body wise, the grand am is a 2000. So the wire harness will be different you are syaing being 3 years apart. I didn’t think GM changed to much of the motor part from year to year. I understand its a lot of work but my son wants to attempt it as we know what the engine is like that we are putting in the Sunfire and now a days who knows what kind of car you end up with for not to bad of a price for a teenager. The donor car has no damage to the front end motor or tranny it was hit in the back end.
Still doable being a 2003 Sunfire and donar car 2000 grand am?

Yes it does have the security light in both cars. In the video above it explains sortta about the security. Not sure what to do here if its even worth it. What happens if the new key does not learn to the computer of the car.
