So thats exactly thre color of the oil. What are those lines actually called. So i can look at the pricing as i was thinking of going to pick n pull to get them. As i was going to replace that fron rad at the same time.

        Thanks

So the oil that I am seeing drip is most likely transmission oil. How does a guy determine that the 2 lines from the tranny are leaking? I crawled under and kinda looked but there is quiet a bit of oil sprayed under the car can not really tell where its coming from other than the passenger side is coated. Surprizingly that there is only a small drip dripping on the ground with all that oil underneath the car.

How big of a job is it to change those 2 lines out. I have had them off of the rad before but not sue how easy it would be to remove from the tranny?

          Thanks

So the Clutch went in the car now or I think the clutch went. The clutch does not work at all any more. Could it be just cause the master cyilinder wont keep any oil in it. If I replace the master cyilinder the clutch would be ok. I am completely lost now where i should start. What would you guys suggest.

                Thanks

So I tightened the axle nut and it had the correct torque on it. So thats not the problem. Will scan it tomarrow and see what comes up and let you guys know what the code is for the abs light to be on.

                  Thanks till tomarrow.

What size of nut are they as I have to buy the socket to torque it. Are they pretty standard nut size.

                    Thanks

Ok will try to tighten the axle nut. Would that cause the abs lights in the dash to come on too.

                      Thanks

Not sure where the bearing are made but I have bought them at NAPA Autoparts. The question was if I was torquing the hub nut to proper spec. My answer to that is I am assuming that the mechanic that has been putting the bearing on the car is installing it properly.
What can a guy do to check? What is the proper torque on the hub? Could there be other parts that I should be replacing when replacing the wheel bearing.

                        Thanks

Its a 2000 pontiac grand am v6. Front passenger wheel bearing is the one i am having problems with. Have replaced twice in the last 8 or 9 months and its on its way out again.

                          Thanks

So I have changed the blend door actuator in my car and still no improvement on the heat issue. Any other suggestions?

So I have taken the blend do acuator out. When I move the heat controls to hot and cold the acuator moves from one side to the other. But i think when it gets to either the full hot or full cold setting that it does not seem to shut off just’s moves back and forth a little bit. If i really press on the controls it stops but the min i let go does the same think again. Thinking this acuator is on its way out unless someone can tell me its suppose to do that.

                              Thanks

I am going to go look at the blend door here this morning. Will see if its the issue. The oil leak I have above that I was saying coming from the air conditioner line I actually think its transmission oil leaking so I will look at the connections. Maybe thats part of the problem too.

So I looked into this a little more today. I changed the thermostat with little to no improvement. I also checked the heater core hoses while bleeding the system that are going into the firewall and they are the same temp of each other to the touch. While checking things over I noticed that it looks like the air conditioner hoses are leaking oil. the ones that are connected to the radiator. Not sure if this would have anything to do with it.

                                  Whats your guys thoughts?
