I did do a pressure test yesterday. It held the 15psi for 30 min and didn’t even move pressured up. Tried a new radiator resivor cap and still the same.
What will a compression test show me?

      Thanks

Back at this again. No heat on the passenger side of my journey. About a year ago i got a antifreeze flush did not solve the problem. So not even a year ago i did the heater core. In proved but not a lot. Today I changed the blend door actuator. I think its better but not as good as what I had prior when I bought the vehicle. Tomorrow on my way to work I will take a temp out of the vents to see where we are sitting. I do have an airbag light on but I dont think it will have anything to do with the Hvac system.

Anyone else have any ideas what I should be looking at next?

        Thanks

Surprises me that there is no response to this question but I just want to add that it is minus 25 celcius here. Never experienced this last year as it got pretty warm in the cab.

Would it be safe to say that it would be the intake gasket as stated. Would your order the parts to replace or wait to see if antifreeze is in the oil. As of today there is no sign of antifreeze in the oil.

I can not say it has fuel or spark. My son said he had spark but did not confirm fuel. Just assumed it has fuel. What’s the best way confirm for sure it’s getting fuel and spark.

                Thanks

What do you mean. Bypass hole needs to be cleaned or turned in the wrong way. The car just turns over and over but won’t start.

                  Thanks

Thinking about it know. We did replace the injectors about 8 months ago. Maybe could be getting to much fuel as they are not stock injectors. Put in 2004 ford mustang injectors in it. Not sure thou just throwing things out there.

So we have taken it all apart again and restarted like previous post. Still having the same issue with high rmp so we just turn the jeep off before it does anymore damage. Gonna order a new gasket and see if that makes a difference. Is there anything else it could be. O2 sensors???

                          Thanks

Hi Guys. I am his father and like he said we just replaced all 4 O2 sensors. As doing this I replaced the intake and exhaust gaskets while I had it all apart.. As we put it back together went smoothly. Everything just fit right back together. So then we started the jeep and we got 4000 plus rpm and higher as we just shut the jeep off. We did get an engine code of PO505 which is IAC Malfuction. took it apart and cleaned it and still have the same problem. High High idle. So we are completely confused what the problem is.

                            Thanks

So this is what I have done. I have disconected the battery for 30 min to reset the computer but no luck with the remote start. When I use the remote to try and start it it goes through everything like its gonna start but it just shuts off and then the security lite blinks in the dash. This has me stumped.

                              Any suggestions would be awesome.

                              Thanks

Was thinking about this sinse my last post. I said the fuel pump was brand new and I was thinking I had a faulty fuel pump. i changed the fuel filtre thinking maybe that was the problem. it is alot better but it still stall ever now and then but not near as often as before. I am going to get the battery check and clean up the posts to see if that has anything to do with it like the previous post said. Will let you know what I find if anything.

                                Thanks

So what I did after reading your post is replaced the oil sensor as the rest of the post checked out fine. Once replaced the oil sensor the reading was back to normal. I let it sit and idle for like a hour just outside the garage and everything seemed fine. I took it to the city to look at some other parts for this jeep and it stalled in the parking lot which I thought was kinda funny. Started up right away which I thought was real funny thinking it wouldn’t have. So now I am not sure why it would have stalled like that. Any suggestions? I did replace the fuel pump about 2 weeks ago so not sure if its a faulty pump or not. Any other suggestions of what and where you would start looking to figure out what the problem may be?

                                  Thanks
