Grab a paperclip, unbend and insert into A and B. Turn key on but do not start, CEL will flash out codes, # of blinks, wait 1 sec, # of blinks = code, repeats 3x with about a 2s pause between each code, then goes to the next code.

      ie

      -blink…blink blink………..blink…blink blink………blink…blink blink………..
-blink blink blink…blink blink blink blink……… blink blink blink…blink blink blink blink……… blink blink blink…blink blink blink blink………
      -blink…blink blink………..blink…blink blink………blink…blink blink……….. etc. – code 12, code 34, then 12 to tell you it’s done.

12 is normal, and if you have no other codes it will repeat that until you unplug/remove key.

Don’t forget to remove the jumper, and cooling fans turning on is normal.

Hey all… long time lurker of the forums, been watching Eric’s videos for a few years now though, although I’ve been too busy lately. Anyway, I’m Chris, been a mobile electronics installer for 5 years now, currently MECP Advance certified (looking to get Master sometime soon though), and been tinkering with/working on cars for as long as I can remember. Originally started in Best Buy Dekalb, IL and was there for 3 years, moved over to Oswego for 1.5 years, North Aurora for 6 months, then back to Dekalb again…

That’s all I really have, I hope I can be of help on here somewhere for someone…haha 😆
