Well looks like the shop hit a grand slam.

Well the have inspected the radiator and shot it with a heat gun.

Service center verified both cats were in fact not plugged and are baffled is to why they truck runs hot under load._x000D_
the temp gun was aimed at the coolant

You are correct, the truck did come with dex cool ._x000D_
Early on within 2 years I drained out the dex and replaced the coolant with the good old green stuff,

The truck is a 1500 ext cab 4×4 and is well within its towing capacity according to the owners manual._x000D_

How much resistance should the fan clutch when hot and cold. It seams to be working fine because the truck runs at 190 when not towing camper._x000D_

The heater does put out heat and the system builds pressure.
