My dad was a gear head for over 30 yrs. his tool box was full of snap on,Mac ,Matco Cornwell, and even some Bonny tools. I believe he preferred Snap on.,because of the quality. He stopped mechanic work, only to sell Mac tools ,for about 10 yrs. he stood behind his product. My advice would be buy the best you can afford you will earn your living with them.good luck.

Last weekend I bled m/c and front brakes. I got some air from right front brakes ,not sure about m/c,the little tubes might have had some air trapped in tube. Brakes seem better ,but rear still skid first. I backed off rear adjusters today after wk.. Pedal is lower ,brakes aren’t any better . Think I’ll back up several times to readjust to where they were. Think’in I’ll feel brake hoses while friend pumps brakes to see if I can detect any bulging. The pedal seems firmer than I have felt air in the past. Can a porportioning valve be cleaned ,there kind’a pricy?
