I want to thank everyone for the insight on this soon to be project. I really want to thank you beefy for guiding me to those 4 videos they are beyond helpful and of course I can’t thank you enough Eric for making that video and all you do for all of us.
It seems to be when installing
I will do both suggestions and I was wondering how to bleed the air out. Thanks a million.

The question now I should ask is what do you think needs replacing my symptoms are the car will rev real high like it has no power but eventually it will pick up to what feels like its driving normal especially if you let up on the gas it seems to not rea
After seeing the video I’ve come to conclude that its the clutch because it does pretty much everything in the video. So now any tips on replacing the clutch. Thanks a trillion Eric
I was wondering what would cause a car to start losing power and sputter when you floor the gas pedal(push all the way to the floor). It drives fine but seems to shift hard when its down shifting (its an automatic). Is this a tranny issue and if so is there any testing I can do to diagnose the issue if it is tranny issues. Thanks in advance
Oh yeah, 1987 Jaguar xj6 sorry about that
The fluid is right were its suppose to be and there is a misfire and it does clunk when it down shifts.
Here’s my update: I checked my clutching again per what the video did and sure enough with the parking brake engaged and in 2nd gear the car doesn’t stall now so clutch replacement here I come. Does anyone have any tips or words of encouragement 🙂 . It’s a 92 subaru legacy 4wd
I followed erics video and I put the car in 2nd and let up on the clutch and the car pretty much died when the cars clutch was pushed in. Could it still be the tranny. Oh yeah I put the e brake on and the car died when I let up on the clutch pedal. Thanks again everyone.
Thanks for the video and thanks for the video Eric I will try those tricks as soon as I get my hands on the car. I will keep everyone posted
This info is very helpful and in fall semester at school we’re doing differentials so would it be easier to pull out a differential out of the junk yard(they have 30 day warranty on it) and swap the 2 and if so is there any tricks I could use to do this. Does Eric have any videos on how to replace the carrier bearing.
Kind of an update. When the car slows down into a lower gear it seems to get louder on the howling and grinding sound. I’m not sure about doing the repair by myself but just out of curiousity what equipment is needed for the repairs dreamer 2355
