I have a craftsman one but they work awesome. I dont remember what vehicle. But, I dropped a brake fluid cap and it fell onto the exhaust. I tried to grab it but I kept on pushing it farther and farther away. It went below a heat sheild and I had to grab a coworker to help me retreive it. Well if I had that tool I would of saved 25 min on an oil change. It would of taken me 20min but ended up an hour.

When you as the technician are getting asked every half hour “Are you done yet” by a BACK SHOP manager that doesn’t even have any tech experience. It really aggervates me.

When people leave their ciggerrette ashes in their car and all you can smell is ash. Also, in the summer when they close their windows while the sun is beating down on their car. You have trash, ash and animal odors fermenting in their vehicles and they are looking at you while you pull their vehicle in while you gag and almost vomit because of the stench. As they wonder when is the last time they cleaned out their car.

I dont have a problem with people that smoke. I just dont like the smell.

I found out it is the voltage regulator. I still have to replace the alt. I might as well do the timing belt seeing that I have to take off the engine mount.

At most franchise businesses they pay you 8.5-10 an hour. you may have work compensation. I started at 8.5 now Im at 9. I just cant wait until I have my 2 years in so I can take my ASE cert.

I would not change the grade of oil you put in your engine. The reason why is you dont need to put a high grade oil in a car at that mileage. It would be a waste of money. The only thing I would change is the oil filter. I would not recommend FRAM. From my own personal reasons.
