Good to hear that
Have you tried reading the codes?
June 28, 2019 at 12:35 am in reply to: 2008 Saturn Outlook blows 10amp A/C clutch fuse each time. #893854Easy way to check it: Multimeter on the fuse and another lead on the power side of the connector of A/C.
Put the multimeter in continuity mode. It should only give continuity in one direction, meaning that if you change the leads it can’t flow.Pratical Example: Red lead on fuse and black on AC it will give continuity. Other way around it should not do it.
Does the AC have pressure?… can’t tell how many times I saw fuses blowing due to AC Compressor trying to compress what it doesn’t have…
It’s an electric or manual parking brake?
You’ll need to do a crash data reset on the Airbag ECU. There’s no way around it.
And many times it’s not easy. I do it often and around 60% of them I need to remove the memory chip from the board to be able to reset the memory.
2005 Toyota Sienna
The 10A STOP fuse keeps blowing, so I have to use the bypass button to put the car in gear.Do you think the cause of the fuse blowing is:
Bad bulbs?
Bad Brake Light Switch?
Wiring short near switch?
Wiring short near light housing?Something else?
Thanks Much
Dan
One of the two Highlited.
First check the tail light assembly wiring for damaged wires.
If I’m not mistaken that car doesn’t have an innertia switch.
And if the Airbags didn’t went out I highly doub the innertia switch would kick inHave you solved your issue?
The antena of the car is amplified or normal?
If you increase the volume on the stereo the sound comes back?
If so is a bad connection.
I wonder if you might be able to re-package the Fermont project videos once you are done shooting them into a series on automotive systems in depth? Is it crazy to think you might be able to sell these as an educational package, like the Vmanuals but with an emphasis on education and training in fundamental automotive concepts and systems?
Good one!
It’s a shame brother.
I hope things get on the right track again. You already passed for so much and it wouldn’t be fair to you to start over.
I’m a subscriber from almost the beginning and watched you grow with your hard work. The quality of the videos are top notch currently and the “crew” that films them know exactly what they are doing.
The only thing I can say is stay strong. YT i a pain but with more repair videos maybe you will be able to get your views back.Thank you for everything brother!
Regards from Lisbon, Portugal (yup, straight across the pond 🙂 )
Need more info to be able to help you on that.
What colour wires are not connected?
Do you have a Sub?A quick and dirty way to see if the amp is powering the speakers, is to disconect the amp, and if you have no sound, then you know that the amp is connected. How it is connected is anybody’s guess without pics or more info.
Just as a FYI European OBD2 Codes are (almost all the times) the same as American ones
Well… I know I’m not the most active member here (I’m exactly the opposite) and I avoid sometimes to comment so I don’t get missunderstood but after seeing this video I had to comment…
As I posted in another topic I’m from across the pond (Portugal), I worked with cars for a very long time (no I’m not a technician, I work in performance and accesories to auto industry), and I’m a subscriber of your channel for a very long time.
It’s has been a long journey, and I’m glad I took part, in some way, in that. From the old and packed shop, to the new and awsome one. All the equip you wish (well almost all 🙂 ). From a single guy with a simple camera, to a multicamera and a Cameraman (wich does a great work in my opinion).
I can not imagine the hours on end you have spent with the channel. The time you spent must be accounted in years not hours probably. I have learnt a lot, and I mean a LOT, from your videos, and learning and having fun at the same time is awsome. and you provide us wih both.
People don’t undestand the costs and time to build something. New equipment, staff wages, all legal stuff, rent, etc.
So it’s normal for you to go for some Advertising. It’s normal and I support you on that. If I am the biggest fun of all of them? No, I’m not, some are not my first “choice” but I watch them anyway for 2 reasons: 1st I know it will be a quality video, 2nd: I know I’ll be helping you and it’s the way I thank you in the only way I can. Watching them, at least I know it will have some revenue to you.
If I would love to have 2 or 3 videos of repairs and Faremont project a week? Of course I would. But I know that for us to have a video of 1 hours or 2 of 45 mins for example, tou probably spent 2 or 3 days filming it plus a few days editing it.So yes, I’m a subscriber and always will because you do an amazing work helping others.
So after this long introduction what I have to say?
Keep doing it brother! We who value your work will always be by your side and supporting what you do to keep the whells rolling.
Thank you very much for your work and to the haters?… F**K them, let them do better to see if they can!
